Trees

I have done a number of sketches and models of my love nest. To achieve an interesting element of abstraction, I have started layering the trees on top of each other. In my models, I experimented with plastacine to get defined roots, then I tried using plaster which made me think about texture. The pictures below show my use of plastacine to layer the love nest area.
